Deciding to visit a new church for the first time can evoke thoughts and feelings that span everything from, "Sure, I'm game," to "How do I know they aren't weird?"
Often there's nothing to really tell you who you'll meet or what you'll encounter.
So, let us introduce ourselves.
Some of us are farmers, some of us are business people. Some of us are laborers and some of us are retired. Some have lived in the area all our lives, others have arrived more recently. What we have in common is being forgiven and our love for the Lord Jesus who forgave us.
Don't worry. You won't find many suits and ties here. Dresses are not prescribed. T-shirts and jeans are just as welcome as anything else. That's because we want you to come just as you are to meet Jesus. He came to live among us just that way. We want you to come to meet Jesus and to worship Him, not to grade or be graded on some arbitrary social scale.
A worship service is intimate, almost like a home Bible study, but in church. We're a casual and calm group. You aren't likely to get mugged by people you've never met. But you will be welcomed by us. Come to home to Jesus.
